Poor Man’s iPhone

So like most of you out there, I’ve been inundated with iPhone commercials and surrounded by people touching away at their screens. Well, as I walked into an AT&T store this past Monday with my wife in the hopes to get one, we came to the hard realization that unless you’ve got an extra $30+ dollars to spend a month, you’re S.O.L. Unbeknownst to us, the purchase of an iPhone requires an overpriced data package and if you want to use the GPS you’re looking at another $10 ontop of that! In addition to that, the phone itself is $200 for the 8GB and $400 for the 16GB! The day when I decide to spend that much on a cell phone is the day I have too much money on my hands.

So, instead of getting one of those, I opted for the less expensive LG Vu. Granted, it doesn’t have all the bells and whistles of the iPhone but it looks just as pretty. I’m fairly happy with it aside from its lack of customization but nonetheless, I actually feel as if I got a deal. I’ve dubbed my LG Vu the poor man’s iPhone and with my 2 months of free MobileTV, I’ll take it.

Making Money Online

One thing that I’ve been set on doing ever since I got out of college was being an entrepenuer. I never narrowed down exactly how I wanted to go about doing it but I knew I wanted to be involved in design and technology. After some research and the standard “Googling” I came to the realization that I wanted to try doing something that was internet based. I then realized that making my money online is probably the easiest and hardest thing to do.

I only say this becuase I have found that setting up a site is one thing but getting traffic to it is another. With the millions of sites out there, why is anyone going to check yours out? Even then, you have to get advertisers, affiliate and constantly keep up the content on a daily basis which is fairly difficult when you’re working a full time job. So I guess I pose the question to everyone, “What’s the right way to go about making money on the internet?”
